Indicators

Our range of indicators makes monitoring your sensors easier. With temperature indicators, weight meters, bargraph displays, and other general-purpose displays. In addition to these, our multichannel digital indicators simplify your monitoring with any measuring unit.

Indicators for clear, reliable monitoring of sensor signals

Indicators make it easier to monitor what your sensors are doing in real time, whether that means a simple numeric display, a bargraph, a large format readout for operator visibility, or a multichannel unit that brings several signals together. Stork’s indicators sit within the wider instrumentation range and are designed to work neatly alongside measurement devices across pressure, temperature, level, and general process monitoring.

Types of indicators in the Stork range

The indicator range includes a broad mix of display and interface formats, so you can choose based on mounting style, signal type, and how the value will be used on site. The category includes:

  • Loop and field displays for current loop signals, such as the PA series
  • General purpose process meters for scaled values and setpoints
  • Temperature indicators that accept common temperature inputs
  • Counters, timers, totalisers, and batching displays for flow and pulse based measurement
  • Multichannel digital indicators for monitoring multiple signals and units in one device

You can browse the full selection and filter by requirements such as LED, LCD, large display, loop powered, temperature input, process meter, counter, or wall mounted on the main indicators page.

Indicators that integrate into wider systems

Many projects need more than just a local display. In those cases, choosing an indicator that also supports communication or easy system integration can reduce panel complexity.

For example, the Prosens digital indicator is positioned as a versatile indicator for process and environmental measurement and is designed to support integration into systems where local display and wider monitoring need to work together.

If your project is moving beyond indication into control, you may also want to connect the user journey to controllers, including PID control where you need stable regulation rather than simple monitoring. If you need to record and trend values over time, linking through to data loggers helps users progress from live display to historical analysis.

Matching indicators to your measurement type

Indicators are typically selected to match the upstream measurement and the operator requirement:

  • For pressure applications, users often start with pressure measurement and then add local indication at the panel or point of use.
  • For level monitoring, indicators are commonly used alongside level measurement devices in tanks and process vessels.
  • For temperature monitoring, local indication is often paired with transmitters from temperature measurement, particularly where quick operator checks or safety limits matter.

Choosing the right indicator

A simple way to shortlist is to define:

  • Input type, for example current loop, voltage, temperature input, or pulse
  • Display requirements, including size and whether a bargraph or setpoint display is needed
  • Mounting and environmental needs, such as wall mounted IP67 enclosures or compact panel meters
  • Whether you need purely local indication or integration into a broader monitoring and control system

If you tell me what signal you are displaying, for example 4-20 mA, Pt100, pulse output, or SDI-12 via a gateway, I can adapt the copy further so the internal links flow naturally from the relevant sensor family into the most suitable indicator types.
