The SLK94T counter is a versatile and efficient device equipped with two programmable inputs, allowing for external reset of selected counters or groups of counters, as well as the ability to change counting direction regardless of the quadrature signal phase. Specifically designed to work seamlessly with quadrature incremental encoders, this counter boasts impressive capabilities. It offers control over up to four external devices such as motors or signalising devices through its built-in relay outputs, which can operate in two modes: normally open (NO) and normally closed (NC). Activation of each output can be achieved after reaching a preset value or threshold set by the counter. The counter’s inputs are isolated to ensure optimal performance. It can be easily configured using the local keyboard or the user-friendly S-Config software, which is available free of charge and can be accessed via the RS-485 communication port.
