Product Highlights
The SPT86L Temperature and Voltage Transmitter is a versatile module that serves as an insulated temperature and voltage to current transmitter, complying with the 4-20 mA standard. It offers the convenience of data reading through the RS-485 interface. This transmitter module features a single input that supports a wide range of measurements, including Pt 100/500/1000, thermocouples K/S/J/T/N/R/B/E, and 0-60 / 0-75 / 0-100 / 0-150 mV. However, only one type of input can be used at a time. The measurement inputs are equipped with full linearisation of characteristics and automatic compensation of the cold junction temperature in the thermocouple mode. The Pt mode supports various connection methods such as 2-, 3-, and 4-wire configurations, while the millivoltage input offers selectable characteristics like linear, square, square root, or user-defined. By default, the measurement output is delivered to the current output, but the current output can also be controlled directly through the serial interface. Configuration and data reading can be performed via the RS-485 (Modbus RTU) interface using the S-Config software on a PC. Additionally, each unit can be preconfigured at the factory upon request.
