The IWTxT transforms any standard 4-20 mA transmitter into a wireless unit with ease. Its operation involves activating power to the 4-20 mA transmitter, allowing a suitable settling time, and then transmitting the data to one of our standard wireless receiver units.
Specifically engineered for prolonged battery life, the IWTxT typically exceeds 12 months of usage in a standard application. Users can customize the data update rate to optimize battery longevity, with options including 1 second, 10 seconds, 60 seconds, or 1 hour. Additionally, the system provides a signal strength indicator and displays the time since the last transmission, both of which can be remotely monitored.
Designed to seamlessly integrate with the IWR range of receivers, the IWTxT complements devices like the IWR-1, capable of outputting a 4-20 mA or 1-5V signal, and the IWR-PORT, which can store up to 128 variables for transmission to industrial Ethernet or RS-232/485 communications links.
