Single Channel Wireless Receiver Product Highlights

The IWR-1 is a single-channel receiver engineered to synchronize with IWPT & IWTT wireless pressure and temperature transmitters, providing an economical alternative to traditional wired transducers. This approach creates an affordable solution for environments where access is limited or where installation is typically costly.

Equipped with the flexibility of user-selectable voltage or mA output, the IWR-1 corresponds to the calibrated range of the remote Wireless Transducer. It also features 5A-rated changeover contacts for essential alarm functions.

While user configuration is an available option, the IWR-1 is specifically designed to function seamlessly with the single-channel transmitter. This design ensures an ‘out of the box’ experience, offering a hassle-free plug-and-play solution for remote measurement applications.

The receiver’s standard 0dBI antenna allows for a line-of-sight range of up to 500 meters. For extended reach, an optional 3dBI antenna can be utilized, enabling a distance of up to 750 meters (LOS).

Wireless Receiver Applications

When it comes to simple cable replacement installation—dispense with expensive cable runs, the IWR-1 Single Channel Wireless Receiver offers a practical solution for sites where running physical cables is either too costly or logistically challenging. By wirelessly transmitting sensor data, it eliminates the need for disruptive and expensive cable installations, making it ideal for retrofitting or expanding existing systems without major construction work.

In the field of environmental monitoring—pumping stations, sewage plants, water treatment, the IWR-1 excels by providing reliable data transmission in environments that are often harsh, remote, or hazardous. Its wireless capability allows for the monitoring of critical parameters such as flow, level, or chemical composition without the risk of cable degradation or the need for extensive protective measures, ensuring continuous and accurate environmental data collection.

For facilities management—boiler rooms, plant hydraulics, plant pneumatics, the IWR-1 streamlines the integration of monitoring equipment in areas that are difficult to access or where running new cables would disrupt operations. Facility managers can quickly deploy wireless sensors to monitor temperature, pressure, or other key variables, improving oversight and response times while minimizing installation complexity.

In terms of asset monitoring—tank farms, process plants, HVAC and building management, the IWR-1 provides a robust and scalable way to keep track of vital assets across large or distributed sites. By wirelessly relaying data from tanks, process equipment, or HVAC systems, it supports real-time monitoring and maintenance planning, helping to prevent downtime and optimize asset performance without the limitations of wired infrastructure.

Finally, for service contract—temporary installation for servicing and field trials, the IWR-1 is invaluable. Service providers and engineers can quickly set up temporary monitoring points for diagnostics, commissioning, or field trials without altering the permanent wiring of a facility. This flexibility makes it easy to gather the necessary data during short-term projects and then redeploy the equipment elsewhere, maximizing both efficiency and return on investment.
