Product Highlights
The Factory-Set Pressure Switch 903 is a versatile and reliable regulating and control unit with a temperature range of -20°C to 85°C. Its NBR diaphragm ensures durability. The standard version handles max. 6A (1.5A) at 250VAC, 10A (2A) at 250VAC, and 2A at 24VDC. The low-voltage version supports max. 100mA at 24VAC and 30mA at 24VDC. It connects via a tab terminal (6.3mm x 0.8mm) as per DIN 46244. The pressure connection combines hose and threaded connections (6.5mm and G1/4, PPS).
Damping options include restrictors of 0.3/0.5/0.8mm. IP00 without a protection cap, or IP54/IP65 with the cap, depending on the model. Protection Class II requires an accessory protection cap. The switch suits equipment installation, with protection class determined by the equipment’s construction and type of installation. Please read instructions carefully before use and ensure compliance with applicable regulations. Conforms to EU Low Voltage Directive and EU RoHS Directive.
Applications
The wastewater technology sector benefits significantly from the Factory-Set Pressure Switch 903. In this field, the switch is used to monitor and control the pressure within wastewater systems, ensuring that pumps and valves operate efficiently and safely. By providing reliable pressure monitoring, the switch helps prevent overpressure situations that could lead to equipment damage or system failures, thereby supporting the smooth and safe operation of wastewater treatment plants.
In liquid level measurement applications, the Factory-Set Pressure Switch 903 is utilized to detect and control the level of liquids in tanks or reservoirs. The switch can be set to trigger at specific pressure points, which correspond to certain liquid levels. This makes it ideal for automating processes such as filling or emptying tanks, preventing overflow, and maintaining consistent liquid levels in industrial and commercial settings.
For pump control, the Factory-Set Pressure Switch 903 plays a crucial role in protecting pumps from running dry or operating under unsafe pressure conditions. By automatically switching pumps on or off based on preset pressure thresholds, the switch helps extend pump life, reduce maintenance costs, and ensure reliable system performance. This application is especially important in water supply, irrigation, and industrial fluid handling systems.
In the field of medical technology, the Factory-Set Pressure Switch 903 is used in devices and systems where precise pressure monitoring is critical for patient safety and equipment functionality. Examples include medical gas supply systems, sterilization equipment, and various diagnostic devices. The switch’s reliability and accuracy make it suitable for sensitive medical environments where consistent performance is essential.
