ME 772 Flush Diaphragm, Piezoresistive Ceramic Pressure Transducer with signal conditioning

Introducing ME 772 Pressure Sensors – the epitome of precision and stability. These sensors feature a ceramic base body, flush diaphragm, and operate using the piezoresistive principle. The Wheatstone bridge, screen-printed on the ceramic diaphragm, faces an interior cavity. Signal conditioning electronics generate a non-ratiometric output of 0 to 10 V. Pressure and temperature calibration are electronically performed with the on-board ASIC, offering versatility in bar (ME772) or psi (MEP772). Constant aging detection ensures long-term stability, and the ME 772 family meets EMC requirements. The ASIC stores production-specific data, allowing custom calibration.   • Pressure Ranges: Nominal pressure ranges in bar: 0.5, 1, 2, 5, 10, 16, 20, 50, 100, 200, 250, 400, 600; and in psi: 5, 7.5, 15, 30, 100, 150, 300, 400, 1000, 1500, 3000, 4000, 5000, 8500.
  • Output Signal: ME770/MEP770 offers a ratiometric output of 0.5…4.5 [V], ME771/MEP771 offers a current loop output of 4…20 [mA], and ME772/MEP772 offers a non-ratiometric output of 0…10 [V].
  • Accuracy: Varies with temperature and calibration method, with options for high accuracy, standard accuracy, and calibration without thermal compensation, and a maximum accuracy deviation of ± 0.08 %FS/K.
  • Electrical Connections: Electrical ratings vary: ME770/MEP770 – 4.5…5.5 VDC, 6 mA; ME771/MEP771 – 9…35 VDC, 4…20 mA; ME772/MEP772 – 12…35 VDC, 8 mA.
  • Media Compatibility: Suitable for measuring absolute (A), gauge (R), or sealed gauge (S) pressures.
  • Special Features: Features piezoresistive technology with electronic signal conditioning, a ceramic Al2O3 96% diaphragm (standard), and options for 99.6% or sapphire diaphragm, with a response time of ≤ 5 ms and compliance with several EMC/ESD standards.
