Product Overview: SPC223
The SPC223 is an intelligent digital pressure calibrator that combines high accuracy pressure measurement with comprehensive functionality for field and workshop use. Designed as a portable reference instrument, it is ideal for the calibration and verification of:
- Pressure transmitters and differential pressure transmitters
- Ordinary and precision pressure gauges
- Pressure switches and other pressure instruments
The calibrator offers pressure ranges up to 2,500 bar (36,000 psi), with accuracy options of ±0.02 % FS, ±0.05 % FS or ±0.1 % FS depending on the selected range. A six digit resolution display supports fine measurement and adjustment, while 11 selectable pressure units allow flexible use across different standards and regions.
To support transmitter and loop calibration, the SPC223 can measure both current and voltage, provide a 24 V loop power supply and includes percentage bar indication for fast visual reference when checking span and zero. For users working with smart instruments, HART communication is available for configuring and calibrating HART pressure transmitters directly from the device.
Data handling is supported by on board storage of up to 40 files with 40 data records per file, as well as an RS232 interface for connection to a PC based data logging or reporting system.
