The PUR94D is a versatile and efficient PID controller that combines the simplicity of a two-step controller with the advanced features of a PID controller. It features two control loops for heating and cooling, supported by an auto-tuning function and Fuzzy-Logic algorithm. The controller boasts a dual-row display, with the first row showing the measured values and the second row displaying programmed values. It offers multiple output options, including REL, OC (SSR), or analogue output, based on customer preferences. These outputs can be utilised in the control process, with active current output, passive isolated current output, or active voltage output available. The PUR94D controller comes with a universal input, enabling connection with various types of sensors such as mA, V, mV, Pt, or TC inputs. It automatically compensates for the cold junction of thermocouple sensors and provides fully linearised characteristics for RTD and TC inputs. The wide range of characteristic curves, including user-defined and volume characteristics, makes it suitable for diverse process control systems. Configuration can be done through the local keyboard or the free S-Config software using the RS-485 communication port.
