The PUR94 is an advanced PID controller with dual control loops for heating and cooling. It boasts an auto-tuning feature and utilises a Fuzzy-Logic algorithm for optimal performance. Depending on customer preference, it offers built-in REL, OC (SSR), or analogue output, including active current, passive isolated current, or active voltage output. The controller features a universal input that supports 0/4-20 mA, 0-10V, 0-150 mV, Pt 100/500/1000, or TC (K, S, J, T, N, R, B, E) inputs. It automatically compensates for the cold junction of thermocouple sensors and provides linearised characteristics for RTD and TC inputs. With a range of characteristic curves (linear, square root, quadratic, user-defined, and volume characteristic for cylindrical tanks), it is versatile for various process control systems. The controller includes a 24V DC / 100 mA output to power measuring transducers and facilitates data transmission through its RS-485 port for production process monitoring. Configuration is possible using the free S-Config software via the RS-485 communication port.
