Product Highlights
The PUR49D PID Controller is a versatile and advanced device that combines the functionality of a simple two-step controller and a sophisticated PID controller. It boasts two control loops for heating and cooling, incorporating an auto-tuning feature and a Fuzzy-Logic algorithm. One of its key advantages is the dual-row display, with the first row showing the measured value and the second row displaying the programmed values. The controller offers multiple output options, such as built-in REL, OC (SSR), or analogue output, depending on the customer’s preference. These outputs include active current output, passive isolated current output, or active voltage output, making it suitable for a wide range of control processes. With a universal input accommodating various signal types including 0/4-20 mA, 0-10V, 0-150 mV, Pt 100/500/1000, or TC (K, S, J, T, N, R, B, E), the controller ensures compatibility with different sensors. It features automatic compensation for the cold junction of thermocouple sensors and provides fully linearised characteristics for RTD and TC inputs. The PUR-49D’s extensive range of characteristic curves, including linear, square root, quadratic, user-defined, and volume characteristics for cylindrical tanks, enables its application in diverse process control systems. Configuration can be done through the local keyboard or the S-Config software using the RS-485 communication port, providing convenience and flexibility for users.
