Product Highlights

The Differential Pressure Switch 908 is a robust and versatile instrument suitable for industrial applications. It operates in temperatures ranging from -10 to +80°C for both ambient surroundings and the media being measured. With a ±10% repeatability, it offers accurate switching pressure. The switch is made from high-quality materials such as EPDM, NBR, Viton, and Silicone for the diaphragm, and Chrome, Stainless Steel, Brass, or diaphragm material for media contacting parts.

It can handle a maximum operating pressure of 10 bar and a burst pressure of 20 bar. The switch has a long mechanical life of over one million cycles. Depending on the model, it can handle electrical ratings up to 10 (2.0) A / 250 VAC or low power versions with max 30 mA / 24 VDC. The Differential Pressure Switch 908 is compliant with EU Low Voltage and RoHS Directives, ensuring safety and environmental friendliness.

Applications

The Differential Pressure Switch 908 is particularly well-suited for use with aggressive media. Thanks to its robust construction and the use of chemically resistant materials, this switch can reliably monitor pressure differences in systems where the process media may be corrosive or otherwise harsh. This makes it ideal for industries such as chemical processing, where standard switches might fail due to material degradation or contamination.

Another important application is in heating water circuits. The 908 switch is designed to ensure safe and efficient operation in heating systems by monitoring the differential pressure across pumps, filters, or heat exchangers. By detecting pressure drops that may indicate blockages or pump failures, the switch helps maintain optimal performance and prevents damage to system components, ensuring reliable heating and energy efficiency.

The versatility of the Differential Pressure Switch 908 extends to its compatibility with liquids and gases. Whether the system involves water, oil, air, or other fluids, the switch can be used to monitor and control pressure differences in a wide range of applications. This flexibility makes it suitable for HVAC systems, process engineering, and general industrial automation, where both liquid and gaseous media are present and precise pressure monitoring is essential for safety and process control.
