The S4B Handheld Pressure Pump 4 Bar Range is designed for the testing, adjustment and calibration of a wide variety of pressure gauges, switches and transmitters in the low pressure range.
Whether it is for commissioning, production, maintenance or quality assurance, the S4B can be used wherever precise pneumatic test pressures up to 4 bar are required.
Key Benefits:
- Testing, adjustment and calibration of all types of low pressure gauges and transmitters up to 4 bar
- Long term stable measurements thanks to a hermetically sealed vacuum / low pressure chamber in the P4 platform design
- Exact setting in the mbar range via ultra fine thread pitch and large volume regulating valve
- Tool free changeover between overpressure and vacuum generation on the P4 style mechanism (where both are required in the application)
- Compact and lightweight design for truly mobile use
Practical and easy to use:
The pump is designed so that all common pressure connections can be adapted quickly and securely. The device under test (DUT) is connected via a robust industrial pressure hose with quick coupling and suitable adaptors. A reference pressure gauge or digital pressure indicator can be mounted directly on the pump to provide the calibration reference.
The desired test pressure is generated by operating the handles, then finely adjusted with the integrated fine adjustment valve. This ensures that the same stable pressure is present at both the reference and the DUT. A pressure relief valve allows smooth, stepless pressure reduction for controlled ramp down and accurate verification during decreasing pressure tests.
At the simplest level, the pressure can be indicated with an analogue pressure gauge. For higher accuracy or logging, digital pressure gauges or handheld instruments can be used. By comparing the display value of the reference instrument with the DUT, it is possible to verify accuracy and perform adjustments where required.
Typical applications:
- Assembly and commissioning of pressure instruments
- Maintenance and service in plant and process environments
- Production line spot checks and calibration
- Quality assurance and test equipment monitoring
- Repair workshops and service centres
- On site verification of low pressure transmitters, switches and gauges
