Product Highlights
The LMP331i Level Transmitter offers excellent performance and versatility for pressure measurement applications. With a nominal pressure range from 0 … 400 mbar up to 0 … 40 bar, it can accurately handle a wide range of pressure levels. The transmitter provides two output signal options: a 2-wire configuration offering a 4 … 20 mA signal and a 3-wire setup providing a 0 … 10 V signal.
Other output signal options are available upon request. The LMP331i boasts impressive product characteristics, including minimal thermal error within the compensated temperature range of -20 … 80 °C, with a deviation of only 0.2 % FSO (full-scale output) and a temperature coefficient of just 0.02 % FSO / 10K. It also offers a remarkable turndown ratio of 1:10, allowing for increased flexibility in various applications.
Additionally, the transmitter features a communication interface that enables easy adjustment of offset, span, and damping. Optional versions of the LMP331i include IS-versions (Ex ia) for intrinsically safe usage with gases and dust, as well as the ability to customise the nominal pressure ranges through factory-provided adjustments. Overall, the LMP331i Level Transmitter delivers accurate and reliable pressure measurement with advanced features and optional configurations to suit diverse industrial needs.
Applications
In the chemical/petrochemical industry, the LMP 331 i Level Transmitter is essential for monitoring liquid levels in tanks, vessels, and pipelines that often contain aggressive or hazardous chemicals. Its robust stainless steel construction and high measurement accuracy make it ideal for environments where safety and reliability are paramount. The transmitter’s resistance to corrosion and ability to handle a wide range of pressures and temperatures ensure that it can provide consistent and precise level readings, which are critical for process control, inventory management, and safety compliance in chemical and petrochemical plants.
Within environmental engineering (water/sewage/recycling), the LMP 331 i Level Transmitter is used to measure and control water levels in applications such as water treatment plants, sewage systems, and recycling facilities. Accurate level measurement is vital for maintaining efficient operation, preventing overflows, and ensuring regulatory compliance. The transmitter’s long-term stability and high precision make it particularly suitable for continuous monitoring in harsh environments, such as those involving wastewater or recycled water, where reliability and minimal maintenance are key to effective environmental management.
